As part of the continued expansion of the Topps Tiles Group, we have acquired a high-end commercial specifications organisation, Strata Tiles. This is an excellent opportunity to join this friendly, vibrant and expanding company as an Architectural and Interior Design Sales Support.

The role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a varied role in a creative environment. Based in our London showroom in Bermondsey but regularly visiting clients in the London area, you will be a confident, sales focused person with a desire to learn and develop.

You will be liaising with architects and designers, re-establishing contact and maintaining existing relationships via phone and email in order to book meetings with them to update their tile sample library.

Taking leads from Head Office, you will be meeting potential clients to build relationships and discuss projects to understand their requirements, ideally in a face to face meeting which you will arrange and often lead. Working alongside the Directors, you will be understanding requirements and discussing the latest trends, providing a high level of support with our quality products, service and technical advice.

Depending on the size and complexity of the project, you could be responsible for managing projects in their entirety, or working with a senior colleague to support them with larger scale projects in order to continue your development.

This role would suit someone keen to work in the sales and service sector of the construction industry looking to progress their career.

The person

You will be genuinely passionate about understanding and supporting customers and providing creative input.

You will be self-motivated, inquisitive and eager to learn with an enthusiastic and determined attitude.

You will be proactive in your approach, regularly calling clients and also creating potential opportunities for new business with occasional cold calling.

With strong organisation skills, and a flexible approach, you will be confident prioritising tasks and building excellent relationships.

Confident IT skills are essential, as you will maintain the CRM database to ensure it is up to date.
