Team spirit, excellent training and incredible opportunities: Quang’s Topps Tiles journey so far
I had no idea what Topps Tiles was all about before I joined; I just knew that it was a tile shop. So when I started working in a store in New Southgate as a Sales Assistant, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a dynamic, fast-paced, busy and a challenging environment. What amazed me the most was the team spirit – I was surrounded by down-to-earth, knowledgeable people and within just a few hours I felt comfortable working with them.

I’ve now been at Topps Tiles for over six years and am currently the Store Manager of our Boutique Store in Bayswater. Our customers include architects, interior designers and property developers, and they’re always impressed with our store environment and exclusive products.
My favourite thing about working here is probably the opportunity that I have, as a manager, to develop my team and see them grow – that’s absolutely the biggest thing for me.
The training that Topps Tiles gives its staff is second-to-none. From Service Specialists (Sales Advisors) to Store Managers, the training is absolutely fantastic. There’s a lot of basic product training, but if there’s anything extra that you’d like to do, you just have to ask and you’ll have the opportunity to do it. I’ve worked for several other companies, but nothing compares to the training provided by Topps Tiles. It’s an extremely ambitious company that’s always raising the bar, so if you’re a hard-working, customer focused and a team player, you’ll undoubtedly do well here.
